If you pardon the pun, Porsche is the driver for me personally, with the brand being a large part of my drive and focus for success from and early age.
From childhood, I had an obsession with the Porsche 911 which rapidly became a catalyst to achieving great success in life.
At the young age of 14, I started my first job and saved all my wages in a pot known as 'My Porsche Pot'. My aim was to achieve the dream of owning a Porsche 911 at some point in my life.
This desire was the kick start I needed, launching my first IT business in 1991 (32 years ago) building computers for family and friends. This expanded to businesses in quickly, with my continued learning, fine-tuning every required skill to understand the individual elements of IT, from hardware and software to networking.
IT became a big part of my life with I was also heavily involved in Engineering, completing a technical mechanical and electrical apprenticeship with BMW.
My knowledge and understanding of cars as a highly-skilled engineer helped me to understand how well a Porsche was built.
My passion for IT continued to grow, leading me towards the Internet in 1998 (24 years ago).
